But it’s the “one thing” that we need to beware of. It’s easy to cast away impersonal things. If “one thing” was standing in my way, I pray I would take care of it.

Recently, while listening to a teaching tape on being a steward, the example was given of a person who was rushing to get to a store to pick up a particular watch before it closed for the day. Upon approaching the store she saw that the shades had just been drawn and the person was putting the key in the door to lock up for the night. "Wait", she cried, "don't close the store yet, I know exactly what I want and it will only take a minute." The employee replied, "I'm sorry, but we are closed for the day and I am going home." "But it will only take a minute of your time", she said. "No, I have worked all day and I am going home now". That is the difference between a servant and a steward. A servant does their job and goes home, but a steward takes ownership. So when you join up to become part of the Body of Christ, make sure you have the heart of a steward and not just the heart of a servant. Take ownership and go beyond just doing your duty, to being truly part of the Family. We are in a Covenant together and that Covenant is not to be taken lightly. Sue Chesser, D.Min., M.A., B.A.

Pastor Cheryl Rollins - Children's Pastor/Kingdom Kids

In Kingdom Kids services children experience worship, salvation, and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. All this takes place in an environment that is safe, fun and taught on a child's level. Each week puppets, DVD's, skits and a message brings life changing, Christian family values to the next generation. Sunday morning service is at 10:00 am and Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm offer a variety of fun activities in a Jesus-filled environment.

Being RADical for Christ is what we are all about; seeking to take our pursuit for Christ to the limit, and see that our generation is changed for Jesus' sake! To do this we are going to be Righteously living, Actively serving, and Daily advancing for Christ and His Kingdom! My wife, Alexis, and I are so excited and thankful to have the priviledge, and responsibility, to minister the Truth of the Gospel to the youth of this community through exciting and spirit-filled services on Wednesday and Sunday nights and foundational Bible teaching on Sunday morning!
